Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Susan Delray Whedon on September 11, 2004. Devoted mother of Daniel Whedon and Katherine Amelia Arroyo. Cherished sister of Roger A. (Tony) Whedon. Susan was born in Port Washington, New York and lived in New York City until her death. She was a graduate of The Julliard School and member of the New York City Opera. Susan traveled around the world performing. Her love of children fueled her creative desire and at the age of 22, she founded the Pappageno Puppet Theater. She brought joy to children in the New York City area as a puppeteer with her performance of Cinderella, Goldilocks, Puff The Magic Dragon, Land of Smiles and Hansel and Gretel. Susans dedication to children continued as she developed stories, plays and childrens books. Her latest book, The Waiting Room, was a work in progress until her death. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please sign the online guestbook and send condolences or share your memories of Susan on this memorial. Click "Sign Guestbook".
