In Loving Memory of Adlene Ross With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Adlene Ross, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and resilience, and her memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her. Adlene was born to Evans Ross and Clyde Ross, and was the loving sister of the late Evans Ross Jr., Jeffery Ross, and Barbara Knight. She is survived by her dear siblings: Brenda Ellis, Danny Ross, Calvin Ross, and Allen Ross. Adlene was a loving mother to her two daughters, Kiesha Muhammad and Mona Ross, and a proud grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Francese Andoh. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who were blessed to know her love and laughter. Adlene had a joyful, spirited personality. She loved scratching lotto tickets—some days she won, some days she didn’t—but every ticket came with a smile and a story. She found joy in the everyday moments, whether chatting with loved ones in the office or spending time with her friends at St. Francis.
The St. Francis family meant the world to her, and she meant the world to them. Her presence lit up every room, and her conversations brought warmth and humor to every day —especially Nurse Peggy, who held a very special place in Adlene’s heart.
Adlene Ross brought joy, strength, and light into our lives. Though we grieve her passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and forever remembered.
