It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Miriam Rosado, who passed away on March 5th at the age of 90 in New York City, NY.

Miriam was born on October 5  1935 in Salinas, PR to parents’ Julio & Cecilia Lorenzi de Rosado. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will always be remembered.

She dedicated much of her life to teaching in Public Schools—raising her family, and building her career in Education. She enjoyed cooking, traveling all around the world.  She loved music, dancing and LOVED to shop, but spending time with family, gave her the greatest joy in being surrounded by the people she loved.

She is survived by her two sons Eric & Kenneth and her only daughter Brenda Lee. Her grandchildren Jason, Ciara, Siobhan, Michael, Ace,Christian & John Kenneth and is also the great grandparent to Kalil.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her two sons Julio & Larry,  who are missed immensely.

Our mother’s love, guidance, and warmth will remain in our hearts forever. She leaves a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will continue through her family.

A funeral  service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th at Gannon Funeral Home at 152 East 28th Street NY, NY 2pm -4pm and 7pm- 9pm. Mass service will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 10am. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
