Obituary of Timothy Charles Hogan

Timothy Charles Hogan, 58, of New York, NY, passed away on October 19 after suffering from cancer for several years. He is survived by his brothers Daniel and Thomas (Catherine).

 Tim was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to James and Elizabeth Hogan on April 2, 1959. He graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1977 and went on to study at Columbia University in New York, graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1981. He later received an M.B.A. from Washington University in 1986. He worked for several years as a chemist in Chicago, and later with several not-for-profit organizations in Chicago and New York. For the past fifteen years he had been president of Murray Hill Place, Inc. in New York, NY, and vice-president of the Woodlawn Foundation in New Rochelle, NY. Tim was an active alumnus of Columbia University, loved hiking (he was an Eagle Scout in his youth), and took frequent long walks throughout the city. He was a man of deep Christian faith, a loyal friend, and well-loved by all those who knew him.

 A wake will be held on Monday, October 23, from 5:30 – 9:00 PM at Murray Hill Place (139 East 34th St., New York, NY).

 A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church (143 East 43rd St., New York, NY) on Tuesday, October 24 at 10:00 AM. The burial will take place at 1:30 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).

 Memorial donations may be made to Woodlawn Foundation at 56 Harrison St., Suite 401, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
