Obituary of Thomas P. Ryan

Thomas Patrick Ryan, 44, of New York, NY, passed away on 7/14/2023.

Tom was born on Staten Island to Jerry and Harriet Ryan (Nee Marsh) on May 9, 1979. He attended Susan Wagner High School and graduated in 1997. He went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Economics from Baruch College. He had a career in law enforcement, most recently as a Nassau County Police Officer. Outside of work, he was an avid runner who completed several NYC marathons and enjoyed spending time with his nephews, nieces and his daugther.

Tom is survived by his wife, Victoria Shan and his daughter Helen of Brooklyn, his father Jerry Ryan of New York, his sister Karen Cooney and her husband Bill of New York and their children Maureen, Patrick, Michael, Liam and Kathryn, his brother Matt Ryan of Staten Island, his sister Tricia and her husband Benjy of New York and their children Chris, Harry, Oki, Quentin and Abby, his sister Katie and her boyfriend Mike of New York, his brother Mike and his wife Rosie of Hammonton, NJ and their children Jason, Jeremy and Jonathan and his brother Danny and his wife Autumn of Queens. He is preceded in death by his sister Maureen Ryan and mother Harriet Ryan.
