Mary Corcoran, a longtime resident of Murray Hill, passed away peacefully in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. She leaves behind her devoted children Kenny and Sissy; a host of grandchildren and great grands, as well as numerous lifelong friends and extended families that would refer to her as "Ma or Aunt Mary".  Mary is predeceased by her loving daughters, Mary (Elferis) & Karen (Nappi) and grandsons Kenneth Corcoran and FDNY Michael Elferis.  Mary was a longtime neighborhood fixture who was quick with a story about a kinder and gentler times or a terrible Yankee loss. It is without a doubt that as Mary reached the Pearly Gates of heaven, her beloved Rusty was there to greet her with a soft bark leading her into the heavenly banquet filled with those who went before her saying Welcome Home, We missed you.
