I met Mr. Scott in January 2021 during the Pandemic. Thanks to close friends of mine which are his son in-law Tony and wonderful daughter Crystal. I met Tony on the basketball courts of Midtown Manhattan and Tony introduced me to Crystal and Mr. Scott’s beautiful granddaughter Ellie. Tony and Crystal gave me the opportunity to take care of Mr. Scott’s socio-emotional, medical needs. Though my first purpose was to attend to his needs, we became buddies. We would often pray together, and I would read him the scriptures while he would rest. He would share his memories about his wife and how he adored her. He would also share with me how much he loves his siblings, his children and friends. This opportunity made me feel like I’m also a Persaud! I remember Mr. Scott speaking about the daily news each time I would come over to take care of him. Mr. Scout would say turn it to CNN. Mr. Scott would always say, “Dominique Let’s Go!” Mr. Scout was always in the New York State of mind. He would wake up very early thinking he had to go to work but he forgot he retired. I would tell him, “You did your duty Mr. Scout now it’s time for you to enjoy your life while you can.” He would always speak to me about the importance of health, wealth, education and family.
In conclusion Mr. Scott is a direct result of his family. He is a living sacrifice because he worked so hard to protect, provide and guide his family to be the best. The great Mr. Scott enjoyed watching wrestling during his idol time at home. His favorite snack was nuts. When I gave him a cup full of mixed nuts, he would give me a face I will never ever forget with his eyes closed while smiling and chewing. I will miss Mr. Scott!
My condolences to the family and thank you for allowing me to get to know such a wonderful man! The family is always in my prayers.

To the family of Scott,
It was a pleasure meeting him and taking care of in times when he was not feeling well.
He loved to shave and brush his teeth, and he loved to watch the news.
One Saturday morning, I remember asking him if he liked Trump or Biden and he replied “Trump is no good”.
Those were the last words I heard from him.
May his soul rest in peace.
Blessed love <3
Marilyn Hill.
