Maximillian E Lunstead Obituary

Obituary for Maximillian Edward Lunstead

There are no words to express our sorrow at the loss of our beautiful Max at age 30. Max died unexpectedly on Sunday in his apartment of an accidental overdose, from an addiction he tried so hard to overcome. We will miss him forever- his intelligence and charm, his quick humor and his easy laugh.

He was passionate about his dog Harry, driving his car and riding his motorcycle, music, the stock market and demonstrating his talent for debate. Max was a history buff, especially about World War II. He loved good food, and being with his friends.

He leaves behind his parents Rosemary Shields, and Ken and Jamie Lunstead, his sister Laura, Aunt Honey Shields, Bob, Gail, Alex and Chelsea Shields, and Kris and Lori Venne and their children, his step-sisters Nicole and Samantha, as well as his many friends. Services are for the immediate family only at this time, though we are planning a larger memorial service when it is possible. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Freedom Institute, Friends of Recovery, Big Vision, American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), or to a GoFundMe account, “A Second Chance for Miles”, for a family friend who is currently struggling with addiction. Please contact us if you need links to these charities.
