Dora Mae Bell passed away peacefully on December 18 at Montefiore Hospital New Rochelle. Born in Baltimore, Dora moved to New York City and became a longtime resident the Rose Hill Section of Manhattan, Dora was a fixture of the community often stopping to speak with the neighbors in the community. In later years Dora moved into assisted living at the Glen Island Care Center in New Rochelle. Dora was an active member in the St Francis Church Community and will be missed by all who knew her. Due to Covid restrictions, a private burial took place on December 23 at Calvary Cemetery. A memorial Service will be held at a later time when permitted.
