Mary Ann Dirrane, known by family and friends as Maura, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022. She was 87 years old.

Maura was born on July 16, 1934 in the Aran Islands, Co. Galway, Ireland. She came to the United States in 1953 where she worked in banking until she retired in the 1990's. Maura loved to travel and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to family and friends and for her deep devotion to the Catholic faith. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her sisters Margaret (Peggy), Eilish, Agnes, Eileen and her brother   Lawrence, five nieces: Eilish, Maureen, Ann Marie, Anne Margaret and Joan and 15 grand nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Bridget (Bridie) and brother Joseph.

Visitation services will be held at Gannon Funeral Home on Sunday, January 23, 2022 2-5pm only

Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church 414 East 14 Street NYC on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:30am

Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 10 W. Stevens Ave. Hawthorne, NY
