I have known Wayne and Cheryl, their parents and grandmother for as long as I can remember. They lived in the building next door to my grandparents where I spent much of my time growing up. Wayne was always the sweetest, nicest boy you’d ever want to know—not to mention how handsome he was! A cherished memory I have is of Wayne and my brother being dressed up as “bums” the Halloween they were 9 or 10 years old and going trick or treating in Tudor City instead of the neighborhood. Well! The boys came back with shopping bags overflowing with candy, nickels, dimes, quarters and even a few dollar bills! I’ll never forget the smiles on Wayne’s and Bill’s faces. I’m so glad I knew you, Wayne. Rest In Peace. Love and prayers to all your family. Karen J Smith
