Ann C. Kearney Obituary

Ann C. Kearney Died peacefully at Mary Manning Walsh Home on April 14. Beloved aunt to Theresa Tuttle, Valarie Kearney-Olivera, Peter Kearney, Patricia Rodriguez, James McGuigan, William McGuigan, Kevin Cloughessy, June Nicora, John Cloughessy, Rita Wagner, Margaret Ann Gandolfo, Mary Ann McGuigan, and Edward McGuigan


Until her retirement in 2014, Ann was Financial Advisor for the New York Archdiocesan Catechetical Office and Assistant to the Director, Sr. Joan Curtin. A Certified Chaplain Emeritus, she also served as Director of Pastoral Care at the Cabrini Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was Lector and Special Minister of the Eucharist at Immaculate Conception Parish. Ann was a member of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, a recognition of her outstanding work for the Church. She was also the first person ever to receive the Catechetical Office's Medal of Honor.  Prior to her work for the Archdiocese, Ann was Corporate Assistant Secretary for International Operations at International Paper Company.
