Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Mary? A: Mary was timeless jewel. Whether you met her @ 29 or 92, she was full of joy and generosity. She almost loved people as much as she loved animals. Mary would walk 30 blocks to ensure the Squirrels of Madison Square Park. Buy day old bread for the birdies of Murray Hill. Every time I see any bird or squirrel, I will always have a smile and continue to think of her kind and generous spirit.
