Obituary of Ignazio Ferraro

Ignazio Ferraro “Nat” passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 1, 2019

at the age of 95 years old.   Born in Manhattan, NY on June 21, 1923

to Nicholas and Angelina Ferraro, he was loved by all who met him.

He married his beloved wife, Frances, on May 22, 1948
and they started their family.

Nat was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances.
He is survived by his five children, Russell (Mary Lou), Jimmy, Ann Marie,
Richard and Francine as well as six grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren, his sister Mary and nephews.

A proud veteran who served in World War II, he loved his family,
the racetrack (especially when he won)  The Price is Right and Judge Judy.

He moved to Lehighton, PA in 2002 where he made many great friends
and neighbors. Whether he knew you personally or you were a stranger
on a mall bench, he always had time to strike up a friendly conversation with you.

In his younger years, he loved taking annual trips with his family
to Lake George, NY, and later even ventured to Aruba
to see what it was “all about.” He will be dearly missed,
but the memories he made and the good times shared
with him will never be forgotten.

Family will recieve friends at Gannon Funeral Home,
