Ignazio ""NAT"" Ferraro Obituary

 Ignazio Ferraro “Nat” passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 1, 2019


at the age of 95 years old.   Born in Manhattan, NY on June 21, 1923


to Nicholas and Angelina Ferraro, he was loved by all who met him.















He married his beloved wife, Frances, on May 22, 1948



and they started their family. 



 



Nat was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances.



He is survived by his five children, Russell (Mary Lou), Jimmy, Ann Marie,



Richard and Francine as well as six grandchildren, 



eight great-grandchildren, his sister Mary and nephews. 



 



A proud veteran who served in World War II, he loved his family,



the racetrack (especially when he won)  The Price is Right and Judge Judy.



 



He moved to Lehighton, PA in 2002 where he made many great friends



and neighbors. Whether he knew you personally or you were a stranger



on a mall bench, he always had time to strike up a friendly conversation with you.



 



In his younger years, he loved taking annual trips with his family



to Lake George, NY, and later even ventured to Aruba



to see what it was “all about.” He will be dearly missed, 



but the memories he made and the good times shared



with him will never be forgotten.

2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 



Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated



 at Epiphany Church



 Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 10:30 am.



A burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
