Ines Graham Obituary

In loving memory of Ines Scagnelli Graham who passed away after a long and difficult illness on January 26, 2024. She was born on February 5, 1929 in New York City, youngest child of Rosa Molga Scagnelli and Joseph Scagnelli, dear sister to the late Paul Scagnelli and the late Marie Scagnelli Albanese. Ines left an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ines's life was characterized by her unwavering kindness, boundless generosity, and infectious laughter. She was the devoted spouse of the late Kenneth Graham, and was a cherished friend, and valued member of the community. She touched the hearts of many through her sincere compassion and willingness to help others. She nursed her mother for many years after a traumatic car accident, she nursed her sister-in-law, and she was the primary care giver for her husband who developed a Parkinsonian disease..

Ines had a passion for travel, and she shared that passion with everyone around her. Some of the places she explored are Egypt, China, and Europe. She visited Ponte dell'Olio, where she lived as a young child.

She will be remembered for her work for the New York Power Authority, and her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift others for years to come.

Ines is survived by her beloved nieces Carol Scagnelli Edmonds and her husband David and Linda Albanese Anfuso and her husband Dennis. She is also survived by her niece Susan Healey's family, nieces and nephew in the Graham family and many friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered as a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
