Dear Dr. Lewis,
My life wouldn’t be what it is without you. It’s been seven years since I moved to LA from Brooklyn, but I take your advice with me everywhere I go, every day. You were a trusted advisor and the only other person I had to see, other than my father, when I went home to visit. Thank you for your years of guidance and support, through all the good and bad times. I’d like to think you’d be proud of how much stronger I’ve become and the decisions I’ve made.
I enjoyed getting to know you and hearing about your motorcycle journeys and of course your family. I send them nothing but my love and condolences for such a big loss.
Very best regards,
Tricia.

I give my upmost deepest condolences to the family. I was just looking at picture of Larry posted in my office and thought I search online and found his obituary. I know he is in a better place!
I am grateful that God has allowed Larry to be a part of my life at work for a brief time. Larry was my supervisor while he was the director of the Teachers College training facility, Center for Psychological Service when I started in 1993. Larry had a good heart. I remember he blessed my family to a dinner at his home for a 4th July event. We had front seat view of the Macy's Fireworks. His hospitality and love reflected to my children now adults is forever remembered. As adults they remember how he welcomed and entertained them in his home. You do not find many supervisors who would open their doors to their staff and family. I also have a memory when Larry attended my wedding in 1996. He didn't have to do this but his presence blessed me. I thank him for sharing a part of him with me and my family.
He will forever be remembered!

My earliest memories of Larry date back to 1963 in San Francisco. He had come to visit my family and it was sometime near the holidays. We lived on Broderick Street. The memory is vague, but I remember I had a loose tooth, and he and my stepdad were joking about how to pull the tooth. They ended up, putting a string around my tooth and slamming the door.
There were many more visits. One year he came out with his wife at the time I was only 12 or 13 so I don’t remember who it was but we drove out to the Point Reyes seashore, I was proudly, carrying the patchwork leather purse that he and his wife had given me I felt so grown up.
Many years later, Larry a daughter, the same age as mine Anna and Cassy became fast friends and Larry would come for a visit with Anna and sometimes she would spend weekends with us. I
I will miss Larry. He has been around most of my life. Here is to life well lived with many good friends and many good memories.
