Visiting Uncle Paul in NYC was always such a thrill. What an amazing life he lived! This photo is from 2022 with nephews Steve and Glenn Perron and Glenn’s wife, Pam. We had a great lunch that day at a neighborhood diner and Paul chugged his beer(s) like a frat boy! Good times!
I am deeply grateful to Paul for giving us the circle of supernumeraries when I was in New York City, between 2011 and 2014. He was simple, unaffected, and both profoundly thoughtful and very concrete in his advice. He is now a strong intercessor for Opus Dei in the US. I will remind him every day in my prayer after communion.
