My Bench Buddy
Tom was one of my favorite Neibors. Many hours we sat on our favorite bench in Stuytown talking.
I loved listening to his life stories; working in the coal mines in Scotland, serving in the US army and raising a wonderful family. I felt he was a wise man.
My favorite quotes from Tom.
"Don't worry about things you cannot change."
"Life is worth living."
I greatly miss my friend!

To Madelene, Thomas, Teresa, James,
Sending you kind thoughts on the sad occasion of your dad's death , may he rest in peace. Gone to join John and your mum Teresa and of course Auntie Bridie. What a team they were!! A kind gentleman whose spirit lives on in all of you.

A life well lived.
Tommy was a true friend, a craftsman but most of all he loved his family and they loved him. All that he did he did with total commitment.
In the workplace he was a respected forman on many complex sheet metal projects.
I am thankful for the many memories I have of time spent with Tommy. May he rest in peace.

Thanks for Sharing his beautiful story. I knew Mr. Cahill for some years. I met Mrs. Cahill first when I worked for Gramercy Radiology, next to Cabrini Hospital. She was definitely a beautiful soul. Mr. Cahill was an amazing human being. He was kind, respectful and respected, caring, loving sweet gentleman. He really loved his family. He spoke about them often. He will definitely be missed. RIP ❤️
