Mrs. Sally Dan Yuan, 85, of New York, NY, past away February 25 2011 at Kateri Residence peacefully in her sleep. Mrs. Sally Dan was born on April 18, 1926 in Shanghai, China, the first daughter of the late Dan ToYue and Ying Shin-Yin. Sally Dan immigrated to U.S. in 1962 and married to Mr. John Kwan Yuan in New York City.
Sally Dan practiced acupuncture and Chinese traditional medicine in New York City for nearly 30 years with hundreds of patients. She was an active board member of UANYLA (United Alliance of New York State Licensed Acupuncturists). Dr Sally Dan devoted her whole life to helping people be healthy. She had a powerful healing gift and her gift came from a spiritual place in her heart.
Sally is survived by her husband, Mr. John Kwan Yuan, of New York; two sisters, Judy Dan of LA, Anna Dan of Bangkok, Thailand, brother Paul Dan of LA.
