Dear Patrick & family:
Anna and I offer our sincere condolences on your dad's passing.
We did not know until reading his obit how large a role he had played in Haiti's turbulent past, his wide-ranging professional career, and his book contributions respecting Haiti in the economic, military and political spheres.
May his life serve as an inspiration to others seeking freedom from tyranny around the world.
